It Made My Rear Wind Deflector Look Brand New
If your exterior rubber/plastic looks GRAY like mine did, you might try this product: Forever Black. I don't think there's a big manufacturer making it; I got it through the Internet (from CMA, but various suppliers offer it).
The procedure: I masked out the plastic on the mirrors and the rear rubber deflector. I dabbed on three coats waiting about 10 minutes between each coat. It dabs on like the old shoe polish applicators, and may, in fact, be a similar product formulation. After it dried and I removed the tape, I layered the coated parts with an acrylic sealer and an acrylic glaze (I use Klasse A-I-O and SG) and then a hard, long wearing carnauba (Griot's paste).
Yummy. Looks brand new. I'll report back in a month or two on the wearability of the finish.

PS: Be sure to tape the mirrors and to move them around when applying the dye.

If the spoiler or rubber/plastic parts aren't too bad, here is a "quick 'n dirty" treatment.
Get some "CarSkin" or similar liquid finish cleaner. What you are after is one of the "clean only" products, not a "clean and wax" product.
After washing the car, apply the cleaner to about a one-square-foot area of the spoiler or other part. Do not let the cleaner dry, but just keep rubbing until it is gone and the area is clean. Repeat over the entire surface.
