Okay, I hope this doesn't come off as vain or conceited, but do any of you know who runs the gold S in the Ann Arbor area with the plate "RRN"? I've seen this car a few times over the years, and wonder if this person is on Rennlist. They're not involved in local OC activities, but they are managing to keep this car running, so someone must know it. Here's the potentially vain/conceited part: I feel like I should know them, too!

I keep seeing a woman at the wheel; once, a couple of summers ago, I was out riding my bicycle and busted into a calf-cramping sprint at the end of a 65 mile ride to catch the car. It was pulling into a house just a mile from my own. I called out to the woman, "Beautiful 928, I've got one, too," to which she hastily responded, "It's my boyfriend's," and ran into the house. Literally. It was pretty funny, but I guess I scared her, which sweaty, black guys in spandex and velcro strapped shoes on road bikes have been known to do unsuspecting white women.

Anyway, today we got on the highway at the same entrance, rolled a few miles together, and exited at State St. together.

I just want to say "hi" and "I think it's cool you drive a 928!" to this person, and invite them to the local GTGs. It's not that I'm obsessive about 928s...really!
