How about some splash guards for behind the wheels. Something understated yet effective. They should be easy enough to pump out.

Great ideas! It looks like real business if you can bring this kind of products to market at reasonable prices. I´d be particularly interested in the updated interiors (door panels, dash and central console) and a new rear somewhat preserving the porsche design but with current style porsche tail lights (996 style, pherhaps)?

You have a customer. Go ahead! :-)

How about the airbox assembly, that would really dress up an engine bay..nice gloss carbon look finish. Fuel rail covers...and the usual interior trim pieces.

Great idea, go for it.

I would definetly go for some real carbon fiber looking interior pieces. I really want to add to the Koenig interior a bit.

(interior door handles, door sill plates, center console trim)

How about the instrument cluster?? I know it's a complicated shape, but line the visible black plastic 'shell' that holds the guages with carbon fiber?

Yeah! The airbox is indeed one of the things that could be improved on... It's so big, and yet so boring looking! I'd love something to replace it.Carbon fiber would be nice... I wonder if it would be possible to do a polished aluminum air intake system, like the rice-racers? Go from the throttle body, out into a t-pipe, that would sit where the airbox does now, with 2 polished aluminum tubes, going to the front of the car, and then put dual air filters on each side, in front of the radiator, instead of in the back... Hmmmm...

Sorry, got off topic a bit on that last post!

Have you seen the drawings on Projekt928's site?
I know you all think he is bad news, but I really like the rear tail light treatment he designed...

http://www.projekt928.com/files/928_Concept33.jpg

If someone could make that rear end, I would gladly pay for it... I think those tail lights look sweet!

I agree. I have been thinking a lot about a new rear. This one its a very beautifull example that matches well with the front spoiler and round ligths. The car rejuvenates 10 years keeping a total respect to the Porsche design, in my humble oppinion.

I like the idea of the center console. Seems like an area prone to warpage. I know mine is twisted. A carbon fiber look would be sweet.

Geesh... What a response! And there I was thinking you guys are such a bunch of purists that you'd never consider the stuff I'm making...

Thanks to all of you for posting replies. Too many to reply to individualy but tell ya what - I'll check my garage and take some of my interior parts to the factory on monday. Door handles and the center console etc.

Let's start with the stuff thats easy to mold & produce. I'll keep you updated.

Pierre.

I have to agree on the round tailights, that concept does look good. But please, not clear, Okay?
