Hello John.

Having been a freebe, freeloading lurking bad boy, I would like to register as a paying member of this excelent site.

Here in Norway we are not exposed to the greatest information regarding the 928. I really do appreciate the effort You and Your collegues, in addition to the rest of the members on this forum, provide.

Problem.
When I go with the credit card solution and press "pay and finish", it just returns to pay and finish.

Having been a user of this forum for a year, and getting superb answers to my problems, I would like to pay for the year having gone by and for the next year.

What do I do?

As I said, i would like to make amends and settle the bill for last year and the next.

Hi John,

I have also paid up and that was fine. What I really want is Rennlist Member in my ID. I have emailed Jen twice on this and still no change.
Could you help me out?????

I'm in the same boat. I just paid up today so, I haven't mailed anybody about it yet. Just looking for that little bit of recognition I figured it would be automatic, that does not appear to be the case. Thanks for any help!

"Guys who are Not being recognized" Don't assume anything, eg, that your "Rennlist Member" will automatically appear, it doesn't. Two weeks ago a thread ran referring to similar problems, you are not alone. Suggestions were made, but no changes evidently are forthcoming.(Randy: further evidence of confusion?) It is not in the FAQ where one would normally find such info. The admin thread at top for "New Visitors" contains instructions for getting the "Rennlist Member" added to the top. You have to email another admin guy and request it be added. Admin must be under the impression that some members want anonymity. Go figure. As to the credit card problem, try emailing the Randy V. Maybe it is my firewall (I doubt) but there are other bugs in the site such as after posting I can never "back" my way to the 928 forum. I have to go to forum home, or completely close the browser, and start over. It also says I am not logged in, when in fact I am. You will(?) stay logged in until some arbitrary future time and then it will automatically unlog you -- it may be a cookie and when I clean out the cookies I have to log in??Anyway, short of these idosyncrasies, welcome to the Porsche on-line mechanics school. I tried to use the on-line application form, but I haven't received any response. It's been about 3 weeks since I submitted the info.

First - thanks for your support of Rennlist! Hopefully - when I post this, your "Rennlist Member" should show... Thanks Randy V. for popping me an e-mail about this thread...

OK - if you are a Member and don't have the red "Rennlist Member" - please just post back in this thread, and I'll try to add you in ASAP. Please understand - while I programmed the site to automatically add your "Member" designation if you entered a valid Member # in your profile - it *almost* worked. In fact it worked so well -and info entered in that slot would work (phone number/hat size/engine displacement ) Anyway, I apologize for the delay..! Also - you can e-mail me at admin@rennlist.com - and don't be afraid to e-mail me a few times if I don't reply - but I get about 400 - 600 e-mails to that account daily, so I might miss it if there is a backlog....

Also - about the secure site (CCNow/PayPal) - these are secure transactions when you will out your personal info and Credit Card info. (the "Checkout area") The pages before that (where you are askedabout decals, etc. - are not secure, as they don't really need to be... If you have any questions/concerns, please e-mail either Jen (jmunson@rennlist.com) or me at the address above, OK??

My thanks to all of you for your words, posts and support of Rennlist - Jen and I appreciate more then many realize...!!

Hi Bernie..!

Congrats !!! For an Avatar, please just send me either the picture (in JPG Format) or a link to the picture that you have posted on the Internet... I'll size it - and set it up in your account... Again, this is a manual process for me, though - so it's not instantaneous (yea - I want to figure that out as well )

Also - Big Dave - sorry I missed your post/question earlier.... Can you e-mail Jen at jmunson@rennlist.com and ask if she rec'd your app?? She is usually on-line in the early AM and evenings (we both have real jobs - and between her and I - we comprise 100% of the "Rennlist Support Staff ) Sorry I missed your question in my first reply!!!!

Please do let Jen or I know if it doesn't work, OK?? Also - I'm wondering if it may be because it is in a "frame" view?? Here is the direct link for you to try - and when you go to the "Check out" section - please be sure that the "lock" is showing in your browser, OK? That will be the page where you enter your Credit Card info, etc....
