Stan,
If you remove the airbag wheel, DO NOT turn the switch on the car with the battery disconnected, or the air bag 'achtung' notice of failure will be triggered. Then, only the Bosch Hammer, or equivalent will remove the failure notice.

Thanks Gary, for now I will just live with it. More pressing issues to deal with. I was hoping it was like putting it on the 89, which only took me 15 minutes.
