Default running...somtimes

The other day I did the routine timing belt tensioning and after wards decided to clean the engine bay. The car was running fine all summer up untill this procedure and then the day of the completion continued to run correctly. The next day I couldnt get the car to start without using the throttle, and the car would die if I didnt give the throttle input. When I first start the car I need this input as I drive the car runs fine when I am at anything exept for idle rpms, but when the car gets to temperature it begins to want to die, its as if someone will for a breif second shut it off and turn it back on, if I am moving I can keep the car going but it does nothing but stutter and run like crap till I let it sit for about a half hour then I can start the process all over. Ideas anyone?
THank you in advance

Yep, last time I washed my engine - same thing but mine dried itself in a couple of hours. I avoided the distributors and plugs so I likely got a lot less moisture than you.

Did the removing all wires and cap thing used some electric degreaser spray that dries without residue, no change, also the engine is running very rich somtimes there is a white, grey exaust.
Thanks again

Also when the car is about 1/8-1/4 to normal warm up temp it runs great and sometimes will hold an idle of about 450-600 (used to be strong 750) I have looked everything over I cant seem to think it is a vaccum becasue it is so temp sensitive and dependent on sitting for a length of time. any ideas?

Have you checked your Temp II and the connection?
