Hi all,
I'm sure someone can help me with this. I've had 32V manifolds laying around for a couple of years and finally bit the bullet and took action on a good estimate to do the retrofit.
At the same time I happened upon a cheap, locally available 86.5 system for cat back. I have been running GT cats for a while now.
I'm looking for some advice in words/pics for anchoring the passenger side center muffler, since my early car doesn't have a provision for the mounting bracket on that side. I checked the wisdom on Carl's site for his aftermarket install, and it states that a hole is drilled in the crossmember for a mounting bracket. I don't know whether this is a simple mounting strap, or something more elaborate.
Has anyone already been down this road/able to offer a good, sturdy solution? I'd like to get the system buttoned up!
Thanks!

Self-bump (ack, I'll go blind).
Photos on Carl's site somewhat helpful, just dubious about drilling crossmember, would like a tidier/less aggressive solution. Anyone?
