I found a few local 170mph speedo's. Curious what year gauges (what year) will fit my car.

Should be anything before 1990(???) Basically as long as it is a single unit with it's own gauge face rather than the cars with the digital window...which have a full cluster face.
The gauges are analog/electronic so it is a plug and play situation. No tricks required. Just be careful with the pins when you plug the new one in, they are delicate.

Cool, thanks Keith. Odometer stopped spinning a few weeks ago and a local 928 guru has a few parts cars with newer speedo's. Might as well upgrade.
Part numbers change in 85 & again in 87-88. Hmm, with a 2.73 my car won't go 180mph anyway

Enzo, my speedometer was only working sporadically when I bought the car. It was a 160MPH speedometer. I installed a 170 MPH and it's been working perfectly for 5 years.
