Preaty cool to see another 928 in the middle of no where and here someone say "ah chewy I know you from rennlist" Great maiden voyage for my car today! Good guy and hope to see him at the Frenzy.
Yep, that would be moi. Nice to talk to you as well. Good looking beast you have there. I'll try to make it up to the Frenzy on Saturday...

Default For those of you on the fence who might need a little push...

The weather forecast for Friday, Saturday and Sunday is a solid "Clear and Sunny" with perfect temps. in the mid 70's & low humidity.
For those of you who aren't familiar with the DC area's weather, this is an anomoly.
People around here refer to days like this as "spectacular".
For all of those fence sitters, here's the push: http://weather.msn.com/local.aspx?we...ns=wc:USVA0735

I'll see what I can do, but a little rain isn't going to keep me from SP. Given a damp track, isn't it easier to drift a 928 than a 911?

I like hot sticky surfaces vs cold damp ones

Drifting is a sport all by itself, not to be confused with real racing

HA! Yes they have a new track at SP designed just for the drift "recers". It's the one completely surrounded by concrete "Jersey" walls!!!

The last couple years we have had tech sessions the only tools that were at the shop where owned by the one or two mechanics that just happened to be there "working" on the weekend.

If everyone can remember to bring a few tools it would be helpfull. Hopefully we will remember some of the less common specialty and less-commonly needed tools just in case also. Unfortunately there are only a few scheduled sessions so it would be hard to plan tools.

Just a suggestion.

Default Can I Stop By For few?

I won't be able to attend formally (appointment w/ mechanic), but I'd like to stop by and meet some of you guys on Saturday afternoon. D'ya think it'll be ok to show up at Funktion Auto for a few? I was the only 928 at HPDC last weekend at Summit Point. I represented us well.

Have fun tonight gang. I just got the word I have to work late tonight and won't be able to make it. That's usually how government contracting goes this time of year. See everyone tomorrow, but don't laugh my wipers and window trim is still at the painters so I'm missin a few things.
