Hacker,

I have an excellent compressor off the parts car. The system was empty but the compressor spins freely, making the usually mumping sounds and the clutch is working too (bench tested it myself). Tried to give it away for free + shipping but there were no takers. Shipping from Canada would be around $40. At worst case, this would make and excellent core for a rebuild.

Ross,

Why are you getting rid of a working AC?

Ok, sounds good. I have a line on a "local" one that is in about the same shape. I'll PM you if that one comes up short.

Problem is the damn labor of putting it on, doing all of the EPA testing yadda yadda only to find out the damn thing leaks.

Imo000, I was hoping to pick up the compressor from you. My compressor gave out weeks ago.
Thanks

Ahh ok Michael, it's yours. I'll put it next to the other part.

Hacker,

Michael is local and he can pick it up inperson so I will let him have it first. I didn't realize or probalby forgot that he was after one too.

However I have the one off the '85 (came off for the SC install). I will test/check it out over the weekend and if it's good (i'm pretty sure it is), you can have it.

It's me, Hacker/Enzo...you don't remember me already? Wow, that's so depressing. I didn't realize I was so forgettable...

We are trying to get a dyno day together for the 22nd.

Where are you planning on staying? We could move this conversation to the other thread

Whew!! I feel so much better already! He remembers me, AND he's invited me to a party!!

I would love to come to your party. Woo hoo!

But...aren't you out in Wisconsin? How long of a party are we talking, if I'm gonna drive 1000 miles to attend? It would need to last at least a weekend for the commute to balance out.

BTW, do you have ANY idea what a "few dozen" frosty's would do to me, were I to drink them all? It would be a sad, pitiful sight, to say the least. And I would no doubt qualify for the "women drivers who don't belong behind the wheel" category afterwards!!
