Fog light / driving light insert ?
Greetings,
One of my next projects is to cleanup the nose of my S4. While going through the catalogs of both DEVEK and 928 Int., I have seen that DEVEK has in addition to the fog light / driving light assembly, an insert. What is that and how is it different from the entire assembly ? Is is maybe just the lenses themselves ? Thanks.
Marc... any answer ?

I replaced the lens assemblies on both of mine when they became FOD victims. The replacement assembly has the lens, plus new reflectors and adjusting mechanisms. The parts that are not included are the plastic bucket that the lensa attaches to in the bumper shell, and the wiring.
After dropping close to $400 on lens assemblies, I also recommend that you get those plastic protection goodies that lay directly on the face of the lens. So far, so good, with no broken lenses and no rock-crazing of the lens faces either.
The new lenses and reflectors send a lot more light down the road than the old ones did. A worthwhile maintenance upgrade if your old ones are tired, crazed, broken, with oxidized, dull, or rusty reflectors.
HTH!
