Didn,t ever see it on tape, vynil or otherwise. Never seen it in any other format than CD, and as far as I know mine might be the only one. As I'm still in Alaska for 18 more lousy days and it is in Washington, I can't check for any numbers and such. Yes it does have a liner with Pic.
Haven't been able to get in touch with Eric. He used to work for the same company here in Alaska. But hasn't been real good with correspondance. I'll try but no guarentees.

Cool

Hi Snowy,

It is good to hear about another Blasters fan. I have been looking for Streets of Fire to pop up again on cable. Their performance of One Bad Stud is hot. It is worth seeing the movie again to catch their act. I pull out Hard Line for a little nitro injection from time to time. That sort of rockabilly or Texas swing style brings to mind some other hard drivin’ bands. The Fabulous Thunderbirds’ Tuff Enough is hard to beat. The Stray Cats do a good job in that genre. Jason and the Scorchers are hot. Some local boys and girl from around Chapel Hill, NC are pumping out high energy music - Southern Culture On The Skids.

If we make a slight move to blues, Stevie Ray Vaughn was/is incredible. Robert Cray, B.B. King, Bonnie Rait

I’ve got to throw Joe Satrianni out there when it comes to adding horsepower in a rock style. The Smashing Pumpkins add some punch. Green Day, The Rolling Stones, Led Zepplin, Garbage, GoGos, No Doubt, David Bowie, (Where do Beethoven and Vaugner fit in?), Offspring, Smash Mouth, Blink 182, Jerry Lee Lewis, Tom Petty, The Doors, The Cars, Blondie, Lynard Skynard, Madness, and Bruce Springsteen to name a few get my motor running.

Keep em’ rockin’ and rollin’

thom, you've about summed it up. sneaked into a stray cats show once. still own the "fire" LS street survivors album, seen SRV about 6 times, once with full length indian headress, once 7th row center. caught blasters in 85 at doc severinsons in okc. saw jerry lee about 3 yrs ago. one of my compadres was lucky enough to see elvis in 75 and led zep in 77. it's too bad that the music industry is nothing but crap these days. you'll never see stars like this anymore.

Question

Snowy and other Sharks:

Sounds like some great live music times. Almost as good as driving the shark.

Anyone else have high energy music picks?

Cheers,

From sunny Norway.

My 79 928(S) does really well on Carlos Santana, Sacred Fire- live in South-America.

I have a friend with no singing talent whatsoever. You know how sometimes you're singing to a great song in your car? Well, he was seriously belting out his sing-along version of "Love Hurts" by Nazereth. He was totally in to it! He was at a traffic light doing this, when he looked to his right and noticed his pasenger window was down and these two high school age girls in a car next to his laughing hysterically at him! Whoops.

Jeez,
Christ on a crutch!
Had I but known the thread was running to Jammers and the musically eclectic...
I didn't notice the topic running this bunch of replies.
Was about as impressed with the early STYX as I was with Golden Earing or Diesel.
My entire 1800 album collection was sorted thru for theft purposes when I left Korea in 87.
Beatles, Zepp, Clapton, Earl Klugh, Airplane, Crosby, Stills, Nash, & Young, Hendrix, Joplin. Fleetwood Mac, Boston, some old Lee Michaels - 'Frosty' Bart Smith one of the all time great 'touring drummers'-, James Taylor, Richie Havens where the hell will I find something by Havens maybe on an old Woodstock Album, ZAPPA all the way back thru the Mothers of Invention. Bastards even got one of my 'money makers' Tonto's Expanding Headband - the Tibetan Book of the Dead one in Moog Synthesizer only.
Moody Blues including that horrid 3lb. 1/4 " thick peice of crap they did early on, it was so bad you had to keep it! Who, ELP, Floyd - at least you can get some of the grate Moody Blues and Pink Floyd on Video concerts VHS.
What I really am hoping for here is a line on _ and I can't remember the Title - Cletus Awreetus, Awrightous comes to mind by Frank Zappa, it was a total instrumental which took battle of the band to a global level, armies of musicians.
I agree, to this day, with Frank Zappa that,
" Jazz isn't dead, it just smells funny."
Having said that I'm looking for Earl Klugh's
'Low Ride' album dust em' off boy's BTW anyone know where I can get my Sansui AND Pioneer stroboscopic's worked on?
As for the Blaster's can't remember which LP I ended up with. Got it, as well as the sound track on cassette sometime after the movie release.
THEY WERE WAILING! Who was that dancer?
One otheranyone remember the movie Thief with James Caan and Belushi? Who was the group singing in the that Chicago Club.
Other than that, I am still waiting for Randy to get off those Chuchills -a fair smoke-, the Elvis T shirt and the Barry Manilow Album of my choice. These were special inducements meant to lure potential high caliber members into the Reenlist fold. I am at least a .22 caliber and I want the devil's due. Lastly, I have to confess ... I play Billy Idol, LOUD, LOUD, LOUD!
Later,
John S.
P.S. Two Dead Heads talking the day after a Grateful Dead concert; 1st Head, "dude, the Dead concert ran for 6 freakin' hours, can you believe it?". 2nd Head, " yeah dude, rightous ****! By the way which song did they play?"

Any particular maker of those Churchill-sized smokes John?

Here's a tip - Trinidad (Habana). They only make one size - it's one ring size fatter and 1/4" shorter than the Cohiba Lancero. Commisioned by Castro for presentation to visiting dignitaries.

Phenomenal.

If you have developed your palate to discern the difference between top shelf, and the one above it, shoot me an email with your mailing address and I'll send you a couple.
