I'm finally doing my aero install and have one problem so far. How do you get the base to attach to the mirror? I simply cannot exert enough force on the spring to compress enough to get the two together. I've tried the 3/8 drive in the vice as specified in the directions. I'm following Pirtles install guide. Help appreciated!
