Maybe I'm nuts but I like that 4 door version. Sure beats the "new" 928..

I also have one of the jubile cars. It is not in its origonal state I am in the middle of updating the whole car.The seat fabric was worn and torn so i swapped them for 6 way powers. They were euro cis cars from what i understatnd, all meteormetalic, signature pinstripe seats with porsch signature and "s" body spoilers, full leather interior in burgundy.Mine was imported to us in 1985 from a private owner.

Number 131 for sale in Finland. Asking price way too high 29k euros. Half of that is possible, maybe.

Do not know about Finnish prices but 5K euros would be a good price here.

Are those fotos of the "for sale" car? If so, how come it has 2 lots of wheels? Winter & Summer maybe?

It should be same one which is for sale. At least place where pics habe been taken looks like it could be close by to location mention in the ad. Both tires look like summer versions. It probably comes with both sets though only cups are mentioned in ad IIRR.

29k euros is about same as 20k tax free GTS from Germany plus 1k import costs and 8k registration tax. Very few people would take any S over GTS. Normal early S go around 7-10k euros. 14-15k is realistic price range for ok condition manual S4 for example.

Still a great looking car - I'm not biased in any way.

Roger - how many of your cars are you bringing to SITM? I'd love to see your Jubilee (and your clean Weissachs)....

Come on Rog, hire a car transporter and take the whole garage full!

Did you ever meet Bob Ingram? He owns that Oak Green '89 GT w/ 326 miles on it and he did that for Parade a few years back! He brought like 10 of his cars! They are all concours and when asked what Porsche he owns he usually says at least one of every kind! He is SERIOUS TOO! SUPER GUY Bob!

I wish I was joining you all there!

Rog, find me a Jubilee car, that would be a GREAT addition to the collection!

James,
As you know all mine are in various stages of restoration unlike all your prime examples.
One day if I ever find the time and money they will all be perfect examples.

Old tread, BUT i have one of this "Ferry Porsche edition" in Sweden, it has all the "speciallites" i understand these had. Meteormetalic, special seats, manual box, sunroof and it´s still original.
The funny thing is that i own this car between 93-95 then i sold it to a discjockey, he only used it for 10 000 km then his father sold it to a friend who drove totally 390 km in 16 Years!!

By the way. There were actually 141 made. Not 140 like it was thought previously. All of them were made already in fall of 1981 calendar year. First was VIN CS840053 and last CS840224. 80 of them were LHD with G28/05 manual gearbox and 53 with A22/04 automatic. Most LHD were sold in Germany, few went to Austria, Belgium, France, Holland, Spain and Switzerland. 3 were RHD G28/05 and 5 RHD A22/04. RHD cars went to South Africa, Hong Kong and only one to Australia.

Sadly just sold mine; the VIN WP0 ZZZ 92 ZCS 840 060.

About "it has all the "speciallites" i understand these had. Meteormetalic, special seats, manual box, sunroof"

I believe the "special seats" were the only speciality. As was posted here they came with both autos and manual boxes and mine certainly had no sunroof. I also know of one that was not in meteor metallic colour; whether this was from new or later repainted I do not know.

p.s. the one that was not in meteor metallic colour is in Australia
