It was 140 cars ROW as compared to the Weissach (I have one of those as well) at 205 US only.

Sorry to drag up an old thread but one the 140 anniversary models just came up for sale in Switzerland; he is asking a high price so nobody has bid on it or probably will bid on it..

I have a pair of Jubilee seats that I thought I would find a use for but haven't. I wonder if anyone is restoring one of these Sharks and is looking for seats? Cool car, Roger.

Another special edition 928 variant was the Porsche 942 made as a gift to Ferry Porsche on his 75th birthday in 1984. Its also known by name 928-4. It featured longer wheelbase than normal 928 production model including extended roof above rear seats to better accommodate tall passengers, at the time very advanced projector headlights, 5 liter 32 valve engine before it was introduced in US market 928 and so called S4 front and rear bumpers including lights two years before they came into 928 production model.
In 1986 Porsche together with tuning company AMG made few long wheelbase 928 specials with similar rear door arrangement as much later Mazda RX-8. Unlike 942, these had normal 928 headlights. One was presented to American Sunroof Corporation (ASC) founder and CEO Heinz Prechter. ASC was later partly responsible of making Porsche 944 S2 cabriolets.

As I am sure Roger knows, Porsche had more than one variation of the Meteor metallic color - The jubilee's were all the same (single) variation of the Meteor metallic color.
Where are you seeing these different Cars Charley? Any pink elephants?

Hi Dan,
The brochure states one color - however you never know - where did you see this?
Remember Porsche would paint it sky blue pink for the right money.

The one Obersturm mentions is Silver.
The one in Australia is black (turns out to be a repaint).
Roger, your's looks Charcoal on my screen.
The Porsche site shows one in a very deep red.
The one Marton found on Ricardo.CH looks greyish.
Then again, I was tasting some wine on Saturday.
