Post Euro fuse arrangement

I posted a while back asking what the arrangement of fuses is on the 84 euro's with auto trans, and the consensus seemed to be that it would be the same in my owner's manual (which is for a north America car). Well, when I went to replace the fuses with what the manual shows (25 down to 8 and such), as well as removing 16 amp fuses from positions 8 and 13, I found that, to my horror, the car failed to start. It would crank, but not turn over, though I'll admit I didn't want to try very hard. So I'll ask again, does anyone have the actual order of fuses on an 84 Euro (twin coils/distributors, etc)? It will be massively appreciated if someone has an answer to this mystery.

Cool

Flint, I have an '85 Euro S2- If you'll be more specific, I'll check either my 1. List of relays and fuses, 2. Look at what actually is lurking on my fuse and relay panel, or 3. Take a digital pic and send it to you.

Keep your reply on the thread so that others can learn too.

-I'm going to Belgium for two weeks on Wednesday; better ask me before then!

Normy!

The color of the fuse will tell you were it goes.

Whoah, that's a great pic, Steve. Apparently, though, it looks like in '85 they switched to the blade type fuses, as my '84 has the little plastic type with the metal strip down the side. That setup you have would make it a LOT easier to work on, however. So, Normy, looks like either of your ideas aren't going to work for now. Thanks for trying, though, guys, who'd have thought they'd make such a drastic change?

I will keep wondering if my PO has done some creative rewiring.
