All the Weissachs have gold paint and two-tone brown/tan leather. The dish-style wheels are supposed to be gold anodized, but the color of mine seems to be faded. Some pictures of my Golden One.
Check your option codes for 462. There should be stickers in the cargo area, under the carpet. If not, call PCNA's customer service line. They can look up the options codes for a vehicle from its VIN.
Did the car come with any records? Is there a plaque anywhere on the dash or console?

It was trim package included platinum (goldish)wheel color and came with fitted color coordinated luggage which is really rare to find . No mechanical differences for 1980 205 copies were made all Champagne gold metallic , two tone interior sunroof spoilers S style automatic climate control and had a small commemerative plaque ahead of the shifter . The Weissach option was offered until 1982. I have rebuilt climate control units for $295 exchange .

Pvoth, What else would you like to know about the Weissachs?.I own one also....39,000 actual documented miles..and still in mint condition.Someone on here had one on ebay a bit back..not sure if they sold it or not though. There were only 206 of these made in this edition as I understand it.It was named in honor of Weissach who developed the transaxle for Porsche. If you'd like some pics let me know.

It would take more than that to get mine ian....$15,000 at the least.Of course the cars are worth only what the buyer is willing to pay as in any deal, but I really feel they might really be worth holding onto if you have one like mine. And then again...I think MY wife is the best looking woman in the world... ..
