I counted 25 928s on the lawn at one point and know there were at least a few more, so likely a 30+ 928 event. Out numbering the other models of course

A Few Pictures
Took a few random pictures when I had the chance.
Great to see everyone again and more importantly it is even better to see that the sharks keep looking better.
Enjoy........

It was a fun event. I was surprised to see Wayne and Sharky from down south and Andy "Aero Mirror" Evangelidis from The Great White North. Great that you guys (and gals) could make it. The NER/PCA folks were surprised too. If, next year, BSP #4 looks like it will draw folks from far away the NER/PCA will give a 'long distance' award. Also, I'll see if we can plan some 'official' post-event activities like maybe a dinner and/or a drive. And, I'd like to do something more substantial in the OC/Event apparel area.
That bronze-colored 997 Targa was pretty cool. That color would look fantabulous on a GTS I think.
The Carrera GT sounded awesome. I think it took them 10 minutes to figure out how to stow the targa top in the bonnet.
I didn't get many pictures. I was too busy kibitzing, judging, and handing out T-shirts (we have about a dozen extras - more on that later) to spend time with the camera.
The first picture gives a taste of the event. In the second picture we see Marine Blue caressing a GTS' wide butt

Hey guys,
Got home a while ago. I had a great time with you guys up north. Thanks to Carl and Amy, and Rick and Susan for their hospitality. Seemed like the whole weekend was impromptu but was filled with someone stepping in to take care of us. Never a dull moment. Thanks. Oh, I guess it was a little dull when the Carrera GT came into the event.
Met a lot of folks. Was very special to meet Stan Shaw and David Lloyd. Racing a 928 would be something I hope I can try. Many steps and years away. But it seems a prerequisite is you have to be a really nice guy. I got some work to do.
Hope to see you guys in a few weeks at our local event in DC.

We had a great weekend, Amy and I hosted a BBQ 928 gtg at our place friday night and had John Cho and Glen Minucci stay over as well. Both Waynes (sharky and sidepipes wayne) came as well as many locals. The back yard looked like a mini-frenzy. I spent friday making food instead of cleaning the 928.
Saturday night Rick3452 had a party at his place as well that was great as well. We will try to organize next year better for the out of town 928ers with a designated hotel and party friday and saturday nights.
Lots of fun to see my 928 friends.
Maybe some others will post some pics, I only got a few at the event.

What a great time we had down in Boston! Thanks to Dave L & Dave C for inviting the Canadian contingent of the OC down to your neck of the woods.
After driving 45 minutes back to I-93, my buddy and I concluded that yes, Boston's roads are in fact far worse than those of Montreal! Sorry David C!! LOL!
See you next year!

I was indeed a great time!! We had a great time at Carl & Amy's Friday night, and next Year Susan & I will host the post Saturday party again. This time a little more time to plan. Carl can lead the fun run to my place, and have plenty of time for "lift-time" pool-time and food-time. I was so good to have the long distance crowd come. Glenn M, and his buddy John, John Cho, Wayne & Robin, Wayne & Margarite. See all of you on 9-28...... Rick

Tass, a number of people asked whether you were going to have an event at your place. It was suggested you needn't prepare anything formal just a BBQ.
Kind of funny, I parked and basically stayed in one place all day just talking 928 stuff with 928 people. Sorry I missed meeting many...
