Help in Philly/Cherry Hill area
Need help with an engine PPI. Buying a Euro M28/12 and need to verify it's legit. Just need cast numbers on the runners, TB, heads etc double checked. Engine is out of car and partially apart so shoul dbe easy to find cast part numbers. Will pay for Gas and a nice lunch. Plus I am only getting the top half of the engine. Short Block is free game to whomever checks it out for me. Otherwise the seller can keep it. Not worth the extra shipping as I don't need the bottom end.
It's in Maple Shade right off the BF bridge.

I got shot at once in Camden. Murder capital of the US for a couple years in a row around 2000.
What a great community! I recieved 2 offers for assistance with in 24 hours! NJSharkFan offered to drive an hour to check things out for me! For gas money and a nice lunch! WOW.
Long story short I think I am okay for now. The seller sent me many pics verifying each component with cast numbers. He even put a printed copy of the ebay add with my name written on it in several of the pics. I also verified his name and address with reverse lookup on whitepages.com.
Also I am not getting the short block and a couple add on goodies like the smog pump, alternator etc... If anyone is interested, let me know and I'll get you his info. Since technically I already paid for them , I would hope he would let them go cheap. If not pay the shipping to me and then to you and they're free.

I can pick up the parts that you don't want and hold the short block for locals or ship the smaller pieces for non-locals if you like.
I think Leslie and Kevin from up north have a Euro or two, maybe they want the short block?
