Cracked Dashboard / Leather Cover
Hi Everyone,
Another (most-likely-stupid) question for all of you.
My 86 928S (Red/black) has, like many others like it, a cracked dashboard.
I bought a Leather Dashboard Cover from Jager the other day. I spoke to a very nice lady on the phone at Jager who explained to me that I would probably have to "fill" the cracks in the dashboard before putting the Dashboard Cover on. Otherwise, the cracks would show through the stretched leather over the dashboard.
Do any of you have experience with this leather dashboard cover, and if so, would you be so kind as to share your experiences?
