Cool 90 S4 Kickdown switch

Thanks for the reaction. What I realy want to know is if keeping the kickdown switch on for an extended period can do damage to the switch itself or the auto box?

Johan,
I don't think so, but if you car is still standard (without an extra kick down switch), the speed will be d... high <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" />

I run a 4spd auto with a KD switch that has been bypassed permantly. Beside the usual transmission service, I have never had an issue with it. And I run my shark rather hard, not abused, all the time.

Thanks that is what I wanted to know. I've installed the additional switch and the difference is amazing. Now that I know its save to use i'm gona leave it on most of the time as well.
