Canadian S4 wrecker
Anybody know of a wrecker in Canada?? 
I need a S4 hatch and can't see doubling the price with trucking from the Deep South!

I have a spare hatch, white in color, It has the glass, straight.
I live outside of Detroit, we can arrange to ship from Detroit, or I probably can ship from Windsor.

The biggest Porsche wrecker in Ontario (maybe Canada) is called "Whale Tail", and located in Waterloo.
Randy is the owner, and John is usually answering the phone. They have quite a lot of used and new parts. Great prices on new parts. They defiantly have 4-8 hatches there. (s4 ?)
Used parts # 1(800)770-6945 / (519)699-4911
New parts # (905)876-0429
Also try Frank at "Porscheapart". # (416)798-9598 (2-3 hatches, 1 s4, rusty car though).
Or Sieg at "Heimrath" (416)752-7280 (1-? hatches, s4 ?).
DC automotive in Bridgeport Conn. has recently parted out a couple of real nice S4s.

I finally found a hatch, but it's from a GT. Are they all the same fit?
If so, I get my WING!! and Dave M get's his hatch-latch

I was in Calgary the other day and I phoned a couple of wreckers looking for sharks. I often do this so that I know where to look for parts when/if I need them. I found an 87-89 S4 that was wrecked about 30 min south of town. Unfortunately my PDA shat it's self shortly after, so I've lost the number.
This dismantler was in the yellow pages and had a small regular size ad. If I remember correctly it did not mention "Porsche" but "German car parts".
They said the car was largely intact. They also seemed to be a little pricey.

Can anyone out there actually confirm that this GT hatch will fit an earlier car?l
Just the spoiler mounting is different.
