hey thanks for the invite TJ. I'm still a little new to the 928 board after only having the the 928 S4 for about 5 months. I'm still a little green about what's under the hood of these babies. I am more familiar with the US 85's than the 87. I'm also mostly on the 944 board so occasionally i come over here to see if I can lend a hand or schpeal. I sorta got a little sick of people telling my father and me to get a 951 for its cheap power. Seems that everyone is getting those like people are buying Subaru Imprezas. So we figured, 'hey lets get back into the 928 thing'. We got our 87 red S4 at this place called Tilo's Autohaus up in Irvine and have been happy with it ever since.

As for the forced induction. I have figured out actually how to place two small K24 turbochargers (same ones on 993 but will be liquid cooled) under the hood of a 928 as well as figure out the piping for the turbos too. The only thing is that the supercharger idea is still a little new. I am extremely limited to resources so most of my ideas are on paper at the moment. Being 20 (November 1, yayy!!) I'm doing the school, girlfriend, Porsche guru routine at the moment. I barely even have time to wash my car. But I'll start thinking about that supercharger project in time. I'm not going to put forced induction on the 928 for a LONG time. The 944 needs restoration and the shark is just a garage queen at the moment. I'll let ya'll know whats up with the Eaton M90 later on.

Does this mean you're keeping your shark? <img src="graemlins/bigok.gif" border="0" alt="[thumbsup]" />

It just seems like the turbo idea is so much more complicated with all the plumbing that has to be done. If you're using turbos off a 993, that doesn't sound inexpensive either. Now if there was a small, mass produced (easy to find at a bone yard) Japanese turbo that could be used in place of the Porsche ones in your scheme...

Speaking of turbos, I've seen plenty of pics of various supercharger setups - anyone know of a site that has pics of a twin turbo installed on a 928?
