The 3mm hose fits right over the semi-rigid plastic hose that Porsche uses in various places in the engine bay. You may need an elbow to match the 3mm to the nipple on the vacuum modulator...or maybe not. I cannot remember if the 3mm slipped right over the VM nipple. But, I suggest getting the car up where you can easily slide under it and scope out where you may need fitting matching elbows. I have improvised elbows as well, when the improvisation was robust.
