Wood Steering Wheel

Hello All!

I've been searching for a wood steering wheel but to no avail. I'm partial to wood and or leather but would like it to have the Porsche crest. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I believe there are some from the same Japanese manufacturer that Randy has on his 79. I'll agree they look sweet on Randy's car, but the price may be just a little too sweet for some.

I believe that most racing sanctions do not allow wood steering wheels as they can splinter on impact peircing your belly and chest. YMMV

Anthony: Randy's steering wheel is what started me on this search. I couldn't find one like his, but located another that claims to be a Momo with crest?

Does anybody know of a manufacturer other than Momo?

You may also want to check if the stock wood wheel from the Boxster will fit our cars. I was looking at one on my friend's Boxster S last night - really sharp looking. Although that one probably has an airbag in it and may be prohibitively expensive.

If you want to talk with the guy I bought my wheel from drop me an email and I'll give you his email address. He had a couple different style variations on the wood wheel.

Is this more to your liking? Japanese manufacture, looks quite like Randy's without real leather though.
