91 928 GT (what's it worth? - RV)
GUYS, Help me out. My car has just over 65k on the clock and is as clean as they come. Everything works except the back ac does not get cold . No problem with the front ac. New tires, brakes and battery. Great stereo at about 2500 bucks, hard wired radar detector and shifter. Yocan see it on the register as # 0294. I woild appreciate honest opinions on what I should ask for it. Also ,if any one has an idea about the rear ac please let me know. I would like to fix it so as to have no excuses. Thanks, MACK

Hey thats my old car I bought from Wilhoit !! I just checked out the registry. My Stereo had component MB quart's and the guy I sold it to (lottery winner) from NJ put some Big $$ into the car.
Very fast and great sounding car, the car had some 'history', but with all the $$ spent in the last few years I would think that would negate that. Good luck with the sale, it looks great.

Been a few '90-91 GT's for sale recently too, so more to choose from for potential buyers. With prices of a GT being well into the $20s limits buyers even more. All combined, that can effect demand & time on the market. If you have time, the right buyer will come along. Sounds like a nice car, so there will be someone wanting it & willing to pay for it. Just depends on how much time you have. Sometimes a car like this sells quickly, sometimes it can take a while. Imperfections in the market.

I would suggest to price it around $26k - $27k.
Some of you will say I'm crazy, but I've said it before, and I'll say it again - I spent the last two years trying to buy a 1987-1991 S4 or GT, so I know a thing or two about the current market for these cars.
Phil at Weissach Autohaus here in CT listed his 1990 GT (black on black, 64k miles, same wheels, all maintenance done, etc) back in April for $24,900. Seemed like a fair price, right? He sold it for full price after a 20-minute phone call, unseen and undriven, within one day after posting the ad. (I had actually called first, but didn't to leave a number, so I lost pout on that one - but won on my '89 GT).
After the deal, Phil said he priced it too low. Hence, the $26-27k.
