Gt3 Seats
Hi does anybody know if GT3 seats will fit in the 928? The track dimensions look very similiar, they are just so light weight! They sell them here at the dealers for $2200 AUD That's about $1450 USD now I wish I didn't have my seats retrimmed. Our seats are just so heavy. Only problem I see is that the seats they supply are in black.
Cheers Greg.

I looked at this about 6 months ago and was assured that they would fit. Never did anything about it though as some mechanical repair or other used up that cash!
That price you give is what you would expect to pay anywhere and is not particularly cheap. I have seen the standard black ones for sale at less than $1000 USD (didn't bookmark the site, sorry!). If you're paying this full price then go someplace that will sell you the full colour range:

I was actually thinking of your car this weekend - I have just finished rebuilding my interior with new carpets, door/quarter panels and a load of soundproofing. The things that are now the new lowpoint are the seats which are showing their age in comparison to the rest of the interior. And I thought of the pics you posted of your retrimmed seats with envy! So don't worry too much about your seats, you have the best looking 928 I have ever seen!
