Default Wire Question 86S

Would the bare wires to the Temp 2 screw up the sensor at all? Are the wires in the second pic connected the right way? (I know the p.o did not route them the right way)

I don't think the bare wires touching each other would damage the temp II sensor BUT it could send erroneous temperature data to the EZK and LH brains.

One terminal on the sensor is for EZK (ignition) and the other for LH (fuel). Proper test of the sensor is to check for resistance of the individual terminals to ground and not between each other.

If the wires are the same colour then it doesn’t matter how they are hooked up to the sensor as long as its the correct sensor.
As for the first pic, are the end of the wires actually hooked up to the connector or are they pulled out?
