Previous owner had 225/50 HR 16 M&S tires ,Ziex ZE512's(never heard of them). What tires would be recommended for a 83 928. What has anyone used they like for performance and quite on the road?

I run Hoosier Radial RS 225/50ZR16

Expensive but worth it.

 

I'm running Dunlop Sport Sp8000's, quiet and all the performance I need! 225x50x16 front and 255x50x16 rears. My wheels are 16x7 fronts and 16x8 rears.

I run Kimo Victor Racer 700's. Stick like glue but have a Tread wear rating of 50.
