Setting the digital clock
Simple question-My digital clock is working fine, but is in 24 hr. mode. I just installed this clock, which I bought from a salvage yard. Is there a way to change to the regular am/pm mode?
Thanks in advance for any info you may send my way!!

John-
There is a write up by Mike Schmidt on the 928OC website newsletter that details this.
Bsaically, you have to remove the clock from the center console - remove it from the housing that it comes in by removing some soldering then cut a trace on the PCB while filling another. Takes all of about 20 minutes once you have the clock out.
If you need more info - let me know...

Thanks Jay, but that sounds complicated. Is this clock from a European car, or did they all display time this way? One would think there is a way to change the settings by the buttons, but I guess that would be too easy!!

John-
I don;t think that there is a distinction between Euro and ROW when it comes to the clock.
In as far as changing the clock to read 12 hour time - I don't know of any other way - maybe someone else does.
As for the procedure to convert the clock to the 12 hour mode - the most difficult part for me was the actual clock removal and re-install.
