Ignition failure????
Saturday morning I went out to get a few supplies, locked the car. When I came back it would not start. It cranked fast. Tried about 5 times, each time it cranked for 30 seconde. I heard a clicking sound from the console. I had a strange feeling that it was related to the anti-theft system, so I went out locked and inlocked the car door, and it started.
QUESTION: ON A 1990 IS THERE A STARTER INTERLOCK WITH THE FACTORY ANTI-THEFT SYSTEM????

If memory serves...the anti-theft module disables the fuel pump relay from enegizing the fuel pump.
If you hit the key and the engine turns over - but there is a clicking sound from the injectors - chances are that the LH unit may have gone south.

I am sure that my problem was somehow connected to the anti-theft system. I did notice that the drivers side lock **** does not always come up as high as it should. I'm thinking that for some reason the door opened, but it did not disarm the system. Has been fine the last two days.
