Default Car won't start again...

Hi gang, just thought I'd ask you guys what the problem might be.

Just a preface of what's been replaced on the '82:

New pluggs, Nology wires, new cap, rotor and coil - last fall.

More recently, a new OEM fuel pump and filter and the car ran fine.

Today, I went and bought a new battery. The car was running fine minutes before I installed it. Could I have fried something when installing the new battery? Right now, it cranks, gets gas but can't seem to see any spark.

Thanks!

ZEUS+, I can't see to find a green wire near the dist., just a black one. Got any pics of this thing?

EDIT:

Just started the car and it ran for 10 seconds then died...

Hmm, strange how that wire can fix this.. It seems it would either run or not run with wiring. But, I'll order it since I'm running out of options. BTW, got the car to run for 10 minutes before it died!

Mrmerlin, new battery today and connected right. Bridging the FP @ the relay makes it run. And the car will run.

This car is about to give me diaherra! I can't trust it anymore!!

Replace the fuel pump relay & the fuel pump fuse.

Jumper the relay first to verify that is the problem.

Search here for relay jumper instructions.

In the fist post you said it was getting fuel and had no spark ???
If it runs with the relay bridged, replace the fuel pump relay.
