Gentlemen, It's Been a Pleasure
I sold my 928 today and as I say goodbye to it I must bid all of you a farewell too. I owned the car, on and off, since 1981. A lot of good times and many happy miles, but all good things must come to an end some time and now is that time for me.
The real purpose of this last post is to thank you all for the help, encouragement and just plain good discussion over the past few years.
You should also know that this is by far the best car form on the net. No where is there a more knowledgeable and helpful group of enthusiasts.
So, gentlemen (and lady), it has been my pleasure.

It's always sad to see one of our family members leave... I wish you all the best, and hope that some day you miss the 928 so much that you'll come back.

Hey Art, you`ll be riding down the road someday and you will see another 928 and it will bring back memories. Just remember , once you have had a 928 it will be in your blood, and you know what they say about blood being thicker than water. you`ll be back with another project, its already on your path.
Ever since I got my 79 and sold it I was always yearning for another one, then after about 8 years, I stumbled on the 88 Show car on Ebay and really had no idea what it was other than it being yellow and different, so i bid on it and won it, then after all of the hurdles, to get it and refurbish it, i cant say that it was a mistake . I have had many wonderful times, and met many awesome people because of this car, and this website, and the passion still grows , so its in you, just bide your time, you will return!
