Post To RMB or not?

I currently own a '82 Euro 928S. It has the Euro twin pipe exhaust. I have a few pinholes starting on the rear muffler. I'm toying with the idea of cutting out the rear muffler and replacing with 2 straight pipes. I'm wondering how much louder (actually my neighbors are) bypassing the rear muffler will make the already exciting exhaust note? I just moved into a very quiet neighborhood and have already been answering questions about "Greta's" barking. Are there any good patch kits for this muffler?

I had an '82 and tried removing the rear muffler. It made the car VERY LOUD. I ended up putting a small flowmaster in the rear position and that gave a nice low rumble, but no longer offensive. Good luck
