Thumbs down fog hog!!

had my fog lights fixed about 6 months ago & they are out again!! Is it worth the hassle of chasing 9 miles of electrical cable! guess I'll check the relay & fuse, but I bet it's another short in the line somewhere...arggggggh...I love the way the fog lights look @ night...

Gretz,
Check the Greg Nichols site under electrical.
There are three(3) posts of interest that may be helpful, read all three the one on ignition and light switch position might be real helpful.
What year/model is your sHARk?
HTH, LOL.

hey...it's a 91GT ...Love it!!!!!

thanks 4 the info...I've been on Greg's site...think I've seen the fixes...I'm not into ripping apart the car to get to electrical gremlins...hopefully it's easier than that! thanks again....

Gretz--

Before you do any panicky stuff, consider that the light bulbs may be burned out. I went through the panic when both of mine suddenly went out just a couple months after replacing the bulbs with 100w H-3's. Turns out there are cheap bulbs and there are better bulbs, especially in the higher wattages. So buy them at Wal-Mart OK, but look for the GE bulbs in the regular bulb display and don't get the cheapo no-names they sometimes sell by the cheapo foglight display. Just a thought!

Question

Gretz,
You did the relay check listed on the Nichols site or are you just lazy like me?
It is a straight forward power check, no multi meter necessary.
If you haven't been to the fuse box/fuse cabinet- it is wood after all - check it out.
Easy access and a good time to see that maybe you ought to order some extra fuses and a common relay or two.
LOL in any case. Envy your possession of the 91'. Wouldn't trade mine for the world but can hope for an addition to the stable someday!
Later,
Keep em rolling
