Post Brake Booster Replacement ??

Hey guys -

Replacing my brake booster (yes ... I have the bastard out..... :-)

Replacing 'cause I had the dreaded occasional brake drag (when car hot in summer).

As expected, booster was FULL of brake fluid from ???? very earlier brake MC replacement or recently (although my fluid is not leaking).

QUESTION !!!

Can anyone think of downside to drilling hole in bottom of booster canister and tapping with srcrew. Would be airtight normally but could take out on next brake MC change to drain any possible fluid (or just check for that matter).

As you could imagaine. I REALLY don't want to to this job ever again.

Cheers, Dave

p.s. I anyone replacing a brake MC I highly recomend draining brake booster for any fluid.
