Wink Alarm wiring probs

Just bought a wonderfull toy, 928S from 81(Euro spec).
The alarm in the car doesn't work properly and i haved it checked by the manufacturer today.
Main unit ok.
Now i suspect the previous owner have made some error in connecting the central locking function.
The alarmkey locks the car but doesn't start operate until i unlock the car with the doorlock.
The alarmkey can't open the car.
When i unlock trough the door the alarm start to operate.
Suspect the connection to the central locking wires.
Anyone got the colourcodes for that?
I don't have the repair manual yet.

Thanks/Peter

Peter,
Toy! Your 928 is a work of art.
Still a head turner, no doubt. Depending on what the Previous Owner(PO) did or did not do you might have a bit of work ahead of you.
Could you tell us a bit more about Your sHARk. Does it have an after market radio.
There have been inumerable posts where during the installation of the NEW radio/CD player wires were left undone. Similar instances of this problem are also connectecd to the door lock itself due to either age - bad wiring, or, installation of a new lock -wrong lock- by PO.
When you first sign on to this site -after it loads- there should be a 928 archives section. Try it! Just type in alarm problems
or similar wording. Use a space not commas or periods between words, O.K.? Another site to use , with lots of helpful information would be the Greg Nichols site at: http://www.nichols.nu/tips.htm
Keep us posted. If those links don't help or you cannot access them let us know.
HTH, LOL
Keep em'rolling

Thumbs up

Thank's for Your support.
Managed to sort the problem during the weekend.
It was as i suspected wires from the alarm(aftermarket)that had been switched.
Will soon have snow on the ground, so i will have a couple of months in the garage to fix things.
