There is a great debate in porsche circles about these wires. Do they make more power? Maybe a few h.p. They are expensive, but are great quality wires even without h.p. increase. I had them on my 944turbo and felt the engine idled smoother and the plugs burned very nice (silverstone plugs btw) I don't know if non-resistor plugs work on the 928, but on my 944t they caused no electrical problems that I could see. Nology says these plugs are rec. with their wires to make max perf.improvement.

p.s. I plan a powercore, wires and ultra x plugs for my blk tip shk.

My plan is to use Accel 8/8.5 mm, sprial wrapped
low resistance wires with their Super Coil, and platinums for the next tune-up. And to advance the timing a tad. I'm running way to rich after running injector cleaner and octane boosters thru the system for the last five months to smooth the idle out. Tinkered with the fuel air mix for the last two months and still rich. I can smell it and the tips have more soot than my chimney.
Plug check results...all 8 tan to light brown. Pattycakes runs like the proverbial Raped Ape but I think a double tap system with a long duration early start on the burn would increase HP, mileage or both.
Had some negative posts on the Super Coils but want to try anyway. Cost is an issue here.
As to the Nology wires. There was a negative post or two earlier in the year -check archives- and while I don't totally discount the possibility of them popping off, I'd have to hear a lot more gripes from users to think it was a common problem. Being a non- Nology user my issue is the cost alone.
LOL
