Default Replacement of rubber portion of S4/GT fuel feed line?

I am in the process of re-doing all the rubber fuel lines with Roger's kit (the 14 mm clamps came quick, Roger, thanks! ) The part in question is the 6 or so inches of the proximal part of the fuel feed line, P/N 928.110.367.15, which has a very tight curve in it, at least on my car (sorry for the crappy picture, the reservoir hose is in the way)

I'm sure it's ok to just replace it with the supplied EFI hose and 2 clamps, but should I add a cm or so of extra hose to increase the radius of curvature a bit, or is this much ado about nothing?

BTW, cad plated fuel lines and FPR's clean up beautifully using brake cleaner soaked on a paper towel. And yes, I'm going to put some fresh red heatshrink over the harness line to the jump point....

Rob..........I don't remember the measurement but the EFI line Roger supplies in his kit has a min bend radius. I didn't replace this particular piece but now you've mentioned it........

BTW.........your jump post should have a plastic cover on it.

Rob,
You replace it with a longer piece to max the bend rad.

the metal line (Engine side) is bent too far towards the fender try bending it back towards the cam cover or #1 spark plug wire, not much but a bit to increase the radius since your fixing the HOT post wires open up the back of the 14 pin connector and see if any of those wires are shedding their insulation, you will be concerned with wires that run with the Big Red wire. Disconnect the battery before working on this connection, as mantioned replace the plastic cover to keep this part of the harness dry after washes and rain, I also cut a small piece of tire innertube and wrapped it over the harness and thru the hot post then replaced the plastic cover, for added protection
