Post Ceramatel Heat Protectant

Has anyone had any exposure/experience with this product. I thought about doing my TB, intake and LEGS with this paint (rather than poilishing) It was original used on the Buick GNX back in 87. IF it helps reduce intake temp, isn't that worth a few HP?.

Turbo Application but would it work with a Norm Asp. Engine?.

Quote taken from the 87 Buick GNX Website.

Throttle body is treated with a heat-resistant paint called "ceramatel" , which is supposed to protect the intake charge from engine compartment heat.

It might help on the plenum, MAF or AFS and TB, but the legs are heated by the cylinder head.

Isn't it 1 HP loss for every 10 degrees F?

I was considering using a fan with a hose into the intake valley to cool the intake system while idling.
