Default ABS diagnosis

I still get the ABS OFF error message on the '89GT, even after changing our the wheel sensors. It lights up the message after 10 yds of wheel roll.

On start-up there is no "test-cycle" buzz in the brake pedal upon first depression, as there is on the '87 car with working ABS.....

Does this tell us something???

Brian
The symptoms still indicate a brain fault. Did you swap brains with the '87?

I have never felt your "test-cycle buzz" on my 89GT.

I don't think it is possible to function test the ABS without diagnostic equipment.

Brian-
Have you used the ABS trouble shooting guides on Jim Morehouse's CDs?
