Hey everyone. I am in need of the two fuel line hoses that are located on the passenger side engine compartment. These two hoses connect the rear hard lines to the fuel distributor hard lines. One is a fuel feed and the other is the fuel return. They have speacial fittings on them that I cant find at any hose or hardware store. 928 specialists dont carry them and said I would probably have to find used or make something myself.
Anyone have some that are in decent shape or know of a good used parts distributor??
Any help would much be appreciated.
Thanks..

Curt,
I ran into the same issue when trying to locate hoses for my '79 track beast engine swap.
My solution was to re-use the hose ends and replace the rubber with standard fuel line. An air chisel easily removes the crimp from the hose(I don't exactly remember what it looks like). I used two hose clamps on each end to help ensure that the fuel lines don't come loose (you don't want that!).
Good luck,

The liquid lines your referencing - When I had an issue with my a/c line on my 924s - I took the originals to a shop, Can't remember the name off hand, and they refitted a new rubber hose to the original fittings. They do the same thing for fuel lines.
I saw how they did it and it was sweet. I'm sure there has to be a shop in SO CAL that could do the same type of work. It took about 10 minutes and it was realy inexpensive.
If you need more information, (Sorry About the lack of) I could dig into my receipt vault and get a name - and maybe they can point me in the right direction for you in Ventura.
I always said, there nothing finer than a California Girl!. Maybe that's why my Phoenix Girlfriend always hated when I went to Cali
