Usually these Unique Motor Books versions are not as good as what Brooklands Books does as they have less articles and color pages. Sometimes there are articles in them though that are not in any Brooklands versions. Anyone know if there is for example Performance Car comparison test between Aston DB7, GTS and BMW 850 CSi in this one? Been looking for it for long time.

I have to investigate... They had a Road and Track road test book, and the Gold Portfolio that looked similar in style, but were not the same. I'll ask my supplier about these books!

There are two different companies producing these collections in UK, Brooklands Books and Unique Motor Books. Most of the 928 stuff is from Brooklands. Unique has done one which George linked and another one where there is hole in cover which shows through picture printed into first page.

Now it seems Unique has made third version which cover looks a lot like Brooklands Gold Portfolio. Hopefully there is some articles which is not included on any other versions that have been available. This will not totally offset presumably bad quality but it helps a little.

There are still many great articles which are only seen in magazine they were printed originally. These really should be collected into readable quality PDFs for example.
