I noticed on ebay there is someone selling the VW intermittent digitally programmable relays at a good price - says 2 available... $39.99 & $5 shipping is a good deal - I paid over $60 for my first one at the dealer.

It does not have the part# - but it is described to be the correct part. if you wanted to do this mod this is the best price I've seen for a while.

I got mine from parts4vws.com for $45 +$8 shipping. So if you don't manage the ebay auction, this is still a decent savings over buying from a VW dealer.
