Has anyone out there experienced creaking rear brakes?
When I am stopped with my foot on the brake, it takes just a little lift and I can always here the rear brakes creaking.
Just wondering if this is normal or is there something back there that needs lube (not the pads LOL)
Thanx

Bernie,
When you figure it out, let me know. I have some what of the same problem. Just running out of time to diagnose and fix everything.

yeah i got you coverd .I been down the road before ok
lets start with the calipers themselves .now this is my fix ,so if there are others that don`t agree go easyrr therear pads and glue them in also very important the area that slides in the caliper should be coated with anti seize also you can rr the caliper mount bolts can get some antiseize on the non threaded portion and retorgue them correctly in .when the brake pads load up the creak or even slap like metal also check where that clip touches and dab that as well be very careful not to touch any of the surfaces of braking no dripping or overrun be careful and neat bob also are you using dampers usem

cool rtl,
So you think it is a basic clean lube antiseize job then? Sounds pretty basic to me. I will give it a shot for a cleanup and post the results. Hey Doz, you got that? Try it too and see if we get the same result.
Cheers
