Try these:

Chris Fords' site

951 site

I used the second one and it really helped in assembling the mirrors to the base.

WTF is this "special tool" used for? The guy never mentions how it is used and it doesn't look all that special to me.

Its a spring compressor of sorts...............without it you need to be pretty big to assemble the 2 halves of the aeros.

AHhhhhhhhhhaaaaaaaaaa....but this young grasshopper has snatched a stone from Master Porsche,
the locking "tube" has 3 locking tabs that need to be pressed threw their key hole and turned to lock, very VERY hard to do all while under pressure from the mighty spring.(and me without a vise).. .but if you file the tabs at an angle so as you press in and turn it guilds its way into the locking position...it is quite litterly a "SNAP"...i was about ready to kill someone with all the trouble i was having to lock that silly spring down!!! as for all the wiring that another story.

i just put a 3/8" extension in the end of the pivot pin, set it on the floor, held the extension with my knees and put my body weight on it. push and turn, works easy...
