Default Secondary vacuum reading?

What value would be 'normal' or expected when plugging a vacuum gauge into the secondary circuit for my 90GT?
I seem to remember seing a post not long ago but could not find this.
I have around 14-15 PSI cold and 16-17PSI when engine is warm at idle.
(hooked to the front fuel damper vacuum line)

that should be "in hg" or inches of mercury vacuum

and a healthy engine should see 18-20+ at idle

Thanks Lizard,

is this common for all 32v versions?
Does any body have a link to the earlier thread where people where posting their readings?
It was just recently but I can't find it for some reason.

Cheers/Peter

Peter, this is common for all engines, not just 32Vs or 16Vs,

my engine pulls almost 23 in HG vacuum and I just found out yesterday that I have a cyl that is low on compression

Thanks Glenn and Lizard

I have tested for leaks by having my wife who smokes cigarettes to blow smoke into the intake(and had her keep pressure as long as she could )
I could see little smoke escaping at the throttle axel, not sure how to fix that kind of leak though?
Idle is quite good but I have a slight miss fire that I want to cure.

Peter
On the vac system that runs off the brake booster....I got readings as high as 22inches at the heatervalve....but my HVAC system is 100% tight too....when I had a couple small leaks I would only read about where your at...14 or so
