I work at a garage, and we get almost all of our parts through a company called Worldpac... I was talking to some other guys there about some stuff I needed to do on my car (steering rack, tie rod ends, a few other things) and how I was going to order my parts off the internet. They said I should just get the parts through the garage, through worldpac, because it would be much cheaper. In theory it sounds good, but a few things make me hesitate. For starters, quality: I have no idea if these parts are on par with the ones I would get from 928intl or such. I mean, I'm sure it's fine for toyota, vw, even audi and bmw parts, but a 928? When I looked on their online catalog (not the comprehensive one, just the preview one) they seemed to have most if not all of the parts I need. So, what are your opinions? What should I do?

Most of the 928 stuff I've gotten through WorldPAC is made by the original OEM suppliers.
Check IMC too, if they are in your area, as they sometimes have better prices than WorldPAC on the same exact parts.

most oem parts are purchased via Worldpac - no problem.

Does it have the "Do It Yourself" manual transmission, or the superior "Fully Equipped by Porsche" Automatic Transmission?
