Ectually - I was going for the 4th of Aug, which would be midsummer night. However, we were on vacation in L Powell. Come by when you can, we'll still be at it until 9-ish. Should be good weather.

I think I will make the drive up. Would love to meet all the Dallas guys. I did finally meet Mark Robinson here in Austin and talked about his very very nice mid mount turbo setup. (I need to post about that later, I was very impressed.)

I still need to give Roger his stuff back, so doing it in person could be nice.

Excellent, if you want some fun, go west first and gather up HWY 281 north. Cutoff for Granbury and come up the back way to Aledo. Bring a swimsuit.

What happened with the cool weather request? 100F forecast. I'm getting spoiled with the California weather, this hot stuff is hard to take.

I'm going to have to bail on this one, sorry. I have an emergency trip to Alabama that will have to take priority.

Sorry I won't get to meet you Ryan, 3rd coast is coming soon.

Now I think there is a crossover with Sean and Justin. Funny, how they both can't make it? Roger and I will have to represent the "heartland" of DFW.

Final bump! We've got a heck of a turnout if most folks show up. Getting some interest from other boards too. Might be some interesting stuff out in Aledo on Sat. Several folks have asked for directions:

Any FWY west, where I-20 & 30 meet - exit Aledo Rd, turn left. Cross RR track turn right on Old Annetta Rd(post office ->). 2.5 miles to brick facade DEER CREEK LAKEVIEW Dr. turn left. up small hill to Live Oak, turn left, Royal Oak turn left. 116 on left.

If you see small aircraft flying around, don't be alarmed, it's just some friends of mine. Maybe bring a few folding chairs if you think of it. It's gonna be busy. I put up a nice mist system too, and yet more shade to keep our cool.

Cya soon!

I will be coming, but sadly not in the 928, i will be driving a jeep up there. I need to get a small oil leak taken care of. I am pretty sure its from a faulty RMS, but i cant be certian, so i am going to have to drop the clutch and see what i can find. But I will be there.

i'm still in austin still trying to get to the bottom of this leak with my car. It dosent look like i am going to make it today. My other car idea fell through as well.

I'm really pissed too, i had Roger coming with some other stuff for me and Sterling was going to show me his panels too. I'm sorry guys but i dont think i will make this rodeo.
