Default Stealing Hacker's thunder - look what's in my garage

I too made a recent car acquisition. It's way more manly, cool and powerful than HP's. Ok, *maybe* cool, depending on your, er, uh, well:

Actually, way more fun to drive than I imagined it would be. So much so that I've easily gotten over any "issues" with driving it, enough so that I was tooling around with the top down playing Blur's "Girls and Boys".

The biggest issue - that whomever rode in the passenger side seat the previous 2 years wore way to much cologne, and you can smell it on the seatbelt from where it rests on your chest. damn.

Oh yeah, 928 content - the 928 stays in the garage.

Sweet little summertime rocket/cruiser/go-cart/hipmobile.

Excellent color choice too.

I've seen a couple youtube vids of modern Mini's embarrassing much more $$$ cars on tack and auto-x.

Just kidding. Not my cup of Joe but the Cooper is one of the vehicles my sister is considering getting.

Very cool Chris. I didn't know you were that young Dude ... and your mom is a hottie! A spot of friendly advice - if she puts the passenger seat all the way forward and reclines it, you can see the open road ahead of you

Nice little grocery-getter!

Nothing beats topless on a warm (but not hot) summer day.

Lorelei better not see this. She thought I was shopping for a Mini for her when I showed up with the new car.

Mini's are cool, very fun to drive.

Except topless on a _hot_ summer night.

If you haven't ridden a motorcycle back from the lake in a bathing suit, at 3am on a soupy, 95º night under a starry sky, you haven't fully lived. (Naked's even better, but takes a level of commitment most people lack. I wonder if the 1%'ers have a badge for it?)

The idea of going down and being cheese-gratered adds just the right frisson.

I may be a fogey now, but ........
